Standard kits and supplementary supplies

UNICEF has developed a series of standardized kits to support activities related to children’s health, education and protection. These include supplies for water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH), early childhood development and education in different contexts. Some kits also address the needs of families and women in under-resourced situations.

Kit components are sourced from suppliers around the world. They are assembled in UNICEF warehouses in Copenhagen (Denmark), Colón (Panama) and Dubai (United Arab Emirates) or locally thanks to capacity building initiatives in kit assembly, warehousing and distribution.

Kits can be assembled, shipped and distributed rapidly, making them ideal for emergency response. Supplementary supplies can also be ordered for the replenishment of the kits.
