PreservCyt Solution is designed for use with the ThinPrep processors. PreservCyt Solution is a methanol-based reagent that serves as a transport, preservative, and antibacterial medium for gynaecologic samples. PreservCyt Solution is also a collection and transport medium for gynaecologic samples for certain tests for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and other sexually transmitted infections.
