The careBrush is intended for use with careHPV Collection Medium for the collection, transportation, and storage of cervical specimens for subsequent testing with the careHPV Test. The careHPV sample collection accessories, comprising careHPV Collection Medium and careBrushes, are effective and simple to use in a low-resource setting.

Technical specification:
Cervical specimens collected using the careBrush and then preserved in careHPV Collection Medium are stable at 2–8°C for 30 days or at 15–30°C for 14 days.
