General Description:
Dengue NS1 Detect rapid test, is an immunochromatographic strip assay for qualitative presumptive detection of non-structural protein 1 (NS1). This test will aid in the early diagnosis of Dengue virus in human serum prior to the presence of IgM or IgG anitbodies.

Items required, but not supplied:
Pipettor and tips capable of measuring 5-50μl of solution, test tube or other sample reservoir well.
For serum samples: Plain/dry vacuum tube, vacuum tube needle, needle holder and centrifuge.
Disposable gloves, anti-septic swabs, absorbent paper, protective glasses, timer, container for biohazard disposables and disinfectant (for equipment and surfaces).

Shelf life:
24 months from the date of manufacturing; do not use beyond its expiry date.

Storage temperature:
At room temperature 20 - 30°C, protected against humidity and direct sunlight. Do not freeze reagents.

Primary packaging: 1 Dengue NS1 Detect RDT (strip), packed and sealed together with desiccant.

Secondary packaging: 25 Dengue NS1 Detect RDT pouches, buffer and instructions for use must be contained in one kit.

General recommendations:
Only initiate testing when all components of kit reach the temperature of the environment in which the test will be performed.

Note that serum or plasma samples require supporting equipment and supplies, therefore a laboratory environment is recommended with adequately trained staff.
