Arsenic test kit,extended range **

General description:
Portable, simple and rapid visual arsenic testing kit for drinking water. Kit is designed for field use.

Technical specification:
WARNING: Hydrogen gas and Arsine gas are generated during the reaction. Work in a well-ventilated area away from fire and other sources of ignition. All reagents are unsuitable for human consumption and must be kept away from children and pets.

Based on the Gutzeit method, the testing kit produces a coloured strip in order to detect and visually measure soluble inorganic arsenic (As+3 and As+5).
Results are available in less than 20min, including sample preparation and necessary reaction time.
Kit has a detection range up to 500 ppb, with the following measuring range (colour scale graduation):
0-5-10-20-30-40-50-60-80-100-150-200-250-300-400-500 ppb As+3/+5

The kit includes three (3) different powdered reagents with two (2) reaction vessels, colour chart bottle label and has enough test strips and reagent to conduct 100 tests. Kit comes in a sturdy plastic case.
Pictogram instructions are included in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.

Items required, but not supplied:
It is recommended to procure the following items locally:
- Timer. In order to perform the test, operator should have a timer. A watch or mobile phone should be enough for the task.
- Thermometer. It is recommended that the water sample temperature be between 22°C - 28°C. The standard kit does not come with a thermometer.
- Nitrile gloves. The use of gloves is recommended to prevent skin irritation.
- Eye protection. Wearing eye protection is recommended to prevent droplets from entering the eye.
- Bottles of clean water. In case of contact, it is recommended to immediately rinse skin/eyes with clean water.
