General Description:
Direct Action hand pump, TARA type, Recommended General Package, with glued (solvent cemented) PVC riser main and pump rods, for cylinder installation depth of 12 metres.

Direct Action hand pump, TARA type (lowlift/shallow well), as per SKAT/RWSN Specifications Edition 2005 and as per IS:14106 (with latest amendments) with glued (solvent cemented) PVC riser main and pump rods, for cylinder installation depth of 12 metres, complete set with above and below ground assemblies and components, including the following items required with

each set:
Lower casing – 1 lh x 3 metres
Upper casing – 6 lh x 3 metres
Well screen (slot size 0.2mm as per IS: 12818) – 2 lh x 2 metres
Rising main – 5 lh x 3 metres
Pump rod – 5 nos

Supplied with following tools and accessories:
Combination spanner – 2 nos.
Double ended spanner size- 17mmx19mm
2 nos (Waxpol or equivalent)
Retrieving rod – 1 no
Solvent cement 250gms in sealed plastic container (from established brand)- 1 no.

*) NOTE: Solvent Cement and Cleaning fluid cannot be air freighted.
The pumping set packaging depends on the shipment type.
At a minimum, as per Annex C: Clause 12.1 of Part 1 of IS 15500:2004, Recommended Packaging Procedure.

Shipping Details:
Sea shipment: Wooden crate packing, steel strapped bundles in HDPE sheets for the connecting rods and the riser pipes.

Air shipment: Corrugated cardboard, jute/plastic laminated sheets, steel strapped and marked, steel strapped bundles in HDPE sheets for the connecting rods and the riser pipes.

Instructions for use:
The pump is used for pumping water from shallow wells between 7 and 15 metres. This package is established for 12 meters installation depth.
