Technical Specifications:
Medium size Thuraya terminal with an easy-to-use interface and a favourable size for hand-carry, portable and small-office operations, satellite IP modem only.
Ethernet, USB and WLAN 802.11b interfaces for PC.
444/444 kbps background IP, 32/64/128/256 (up to 384 kbps with external antenna) kbps streaming.
Battery life time; 36 hours standby, 1 hour continuous transmission on highest data rate.
IP-55 ingress protection.
Supplied with:
Thuraya portable terminal, Li-Ion battery, SIM card, Ethernet data cable, USB cable, standard AC/DC PSU (dual AC voltage 110/220 travel charger) w/EUR 2-pin plug and multi-use adapter, car charger/cigarette lighter adapter (dual DC voltage 12/24V), CD-ROM with terminal manuals, software and drivers, hardcopy user manual.

Medium size Thuraya portable terminal with an easy-to-use interface and a favourable size for hand-carry and portable operations. Can also be used for small office satellite IP connectivity.
Requires an activation of a SIM card to access the Thuraya network through a UNICEF appointed Service Provider.
Users are strongly encouraged to get acquainted with airtime rates and monthly recurrent charges.

Precondition for utilisation:
Users require basic training prior to having the ThurayaIP terminal assigned.

Any operation where portable solutions for satellite Background IP and/or streaming applications are required. The terminal can also be used as an office IP back-up connectivity and disaster recovery asset. Note: Thuraya lack of global coverage.
