General Description:
Connecting Rods, Stainless Steel, 10.8mm, with M12 connections, for AFRIDEV and SDWP/EDWP Hand pump, INDIA MARK II type. Extension set of 3 meters length each.

Additional connecting rods (pump rods) for use as spare parts or extension sets with AFRIDEV and Standard deep well hand-pump, SWDP/EDWP (India Mark II) (as per specifications from Bureau of Indian Standards, IS: 15500-2004 and SKAT-RWSN specifications Afridev Rev. 5-2007 (Option B) & India Mark Rev.2 – 2007).

For total installation depth ranges up to 45m depth.

Connecting Rod, diameter 10.8mm x 3 meter length (+10/-0mm), made from Stainless Steel bar, AISI 304 grade, ISO 15510, BIS 6603-2001 (Gr4 CrNi 18 10), with M12 rolled male thread at one end and M12 SS female threaded coupling welded at the other end. Supplied with corresponding centralisers.

Rod Length: 3 meters (+10/-0mm).

The number of extension connecting rods to be supplied must be specified by the field office at time of ordering the hand pump set, or when else required.

Packaging and labelling:
As per Annex C: Clause 12.1 of Part 1 of IS 15500:2004,
Recommended Packaging Procedure.

Sea shipment: Wooden crate packing with steel strapped bundles in HDPE sheets.
Air shipment: Corrugated cardboard, jute/plastic laminated sheets, steel strapped and marked.
