MS Rods and GI Riser Mains for VLOM 50 Hand pump, INDIA MARK III-50mm type.

The set of MS Rods and GI Riser Pipes can serve as spare parts or - as Handpump Extension Kit to apply with e.g. UNICEF material numbers S0009310 and S0009311

Additional riser mains and connecting rods for use with Standard Deep Well hand-pump, VLOM 50 (India Mark III-50) as per specifications from Bureau of Indian Standards, IS:15500-2004. Applicable for total installation depth ranges up to 48 m depth. Length of each set is of 3 meters each.

EACH EXTENSION SET CONSISTS OF ONE EACH OF
ROD AND RISER MAIN

1 x Connecting rod, MS bright bar, electro-galvanized, 12mm diameter, 3m long, with M12 threaded ends and couplers

1 x Riser pipe, 50mm NB (normal breadth), MS-ERW, hot dip galvanized, 3m long, long screw and socketed.

REMARK/NOTE
CONNECTING RODS or RISER PIPES are also available separately. However, such ordering must be done through Supply Division for appropriate material code.

Packaging and labelling
At a minimum, as per Annex C: Clause 12.1 of Part 1 of IS 15500:2004, Recommended Packaging Procedure.

Shipping Details
Sea shipment: Wooden crate packing, steel strapped bundles in HDPE sheets for the connecting rods and the riser pipes.

Air shipment: Corrugated cardboard, jute/plastic laminated sheets, steel strapped and marked, steel strapped bundles in HDPE sheets for the connecting rods and the riser pipes.
