The set of SS Rods and UPVC Riser Pipes can serve as spare parts or - as Hand pump Extension Kits for e.g. UNICEF material numbers S0009322 and S0009323
Additional riser mains and connecting rods for use with Standard Deep Well hand-pump, VLOM 50 (India Mark III-50) as per specifications from Bureau of Indian Standards, IS:15500-2004. Applicable for total installation depth ranges up to 48 m depth.
EACH EXTENSION SET CONSISTS OF ONE EACH OF
ROD AND RISER MAIN
1 x Connecting rods, 10.8mm dia x 3 meters length (+10/-0mm), Stainless Steel 304 grade, as per AISI-2 (IS:6603 Gr4CrNi 18 10) with M12 SS welded couplings (male/Female).
1 x Riser pipes, uPVC, 50mm NB x 3 meters length, with injection molded Three-Piece threaded Couplers, and with 1 piece centralizer suitable for 100/160mm casing pipe.
REMARK/NOTE
CONNECTING RODS or RISER PIPES are also available separately. However, such ordering must be done through Supply Division for appropriate material code.
Packaging and labelling
At a minimum, as per Annex C Clause 12.1 of Part 1 of IS 15500:2004, Recommended Packaging Procedure.
Shipping Details:
Sea shipment Wooden crate packing, steel strapped bundles in HDPE sheets for the connecting rods and the riser pipes.
Air shipment Corrugated cardboard, jute/plastic laminated sheets, steel strapped and marked, steel strapped bundles in HDPE sheets for the connecting rods and the riser pipes.
