General Description:
Connecting Rods for SDWP/EDWP, VLOM-50/65 Hand Pumps (INDIA MARK II & III types). Extension set of 3 meters length each.

Technical Specifications:

Additional pump connecting rods for use as spare parts or extension sets with Standard Deep Well hand-pump, SWDP (India Mark II), Extra Deep Well hand-pump, EWDP (India Mark II-EDW), Open Top VLOM-50 (India MK-III 50 mm) and VLOM-65 (India MK-III 65 mm) Hand Pumps (as per specifications from Bureau of Indian Standards, IS: 15500-2004) and RWSN-SKAT Revision 2 - 2007.

NOTE: Pump/Connecting Rods under the present Material Number S0009334 are supplied as Rods alone - while different corresponding Riser Pipes are available under separate Material Number S0009335.

Normally one complete extension set shall be composed of one length of Connecting Rod (S0009334) - together with one length of Riser Pipe (S0009335)

One Rod only (i.e. without Riser pipe), selected from following list of rods made from different materials, different diameters and lengths :


CONNECTING RODS FOR INDIA TYPE HAND PUMPS:

1)Connecting rod, Mild Steel, 12mm dia x 3 meter length (+10/-0mm) , electroplated and passivated as per IS 9301/IS 15500:2004 with M12 threaded ends and couplers, for use with India Mark II / IM III hand pump. (Please order this item with UNICEF Material reference S0009140).

2)Stainless steel rods, 12mm dia, AISI 304 (IS:6603 Gr4CrNi 18 10), with M12 rolled threads, welded coupling and lock nut, 3 meter length (+10/-0mm)

3)Stainless steel rods, 12mm dia, AISI 304 (IS:6603 Gr4CrNi 18 10), with M12 rolled threads, welded coupling and lock nut, 1 meter length (+10/-0mm).

4)Stainless steel rods, 12mm dia, AISI 304 (IS:6603 Gr4CrNi 18 10), with M12 rolled threads, welded coupling and lock nut, 0.5 meter length (+10/-0mm).

5)Stainless steel rods, 10.8 mm dia, AISI 304 (IS:6603 Gr4CrNi 18 10), M12 with rolled threads, welded coupling and lock nut , 3 meter length(+10/-0mm). (Please order this item with UNICEF Material reference S0009156).

6)Stainless steel rods, 10.8 mm dia, AISI 304 (IS:6603 Gr4CrNi 18 10), with M12 rolled threads, welded coupling and lock nut, 1 meter length (+10/-0mm)

7)Stainless steel rods, 10.8 mm dia, AISI 304 (IS:6603 Gr4CrNi 18 10), with M12 rolled threads, welded coupling and lock nut, 0.5 meter length (+10/-0mm)

8)FRP rods, 10mm dia, with threaded couplers, in 3 meter length

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Normally one complete extension set shall be composed of one length of (1) Connecting Rod (S0009334) - together with one length of (1) Riser Pipe (S0009335).

However, following combinations of complete Rods and Riser sets are available and shall be ordered under the following Material Numbers:

- S0009185 set of NB32mm GI Riser Pipe and 12mm MS Rod for SDWP/EDWP (India MKII) pumps
- S0009324 corrosion resistant set of NB50mm UPVC Riser pipe with UPVC couplings and 10.8mm SS Pump Rod for VLOM-50 (India Mark III-50PVC)
- S0009155 corrosion resistant set of NB65mm UPVC Riser pipe with SS-Couplings and 10.8mm SS Pump Rod for VLOM-65 (India Mark III-65)
- S0009312 set of NB50mm GI Riser Pipe and 12mm MS Rod for VLOM-50 (India Mark III) pumps
