General description:

Intended Use:
Mobile inpatient feeding facility for children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM)

Target population:
Children suffering from severe acute malnutrition being treated in an inpatient feeding facility.

Instructions:
This kit should be used by trained staff, able to recognise the main health problems associated with severe malnutrition (diarrhoea, dehydration, infection, severe anaemia, shock, etc.) and respond to them.
Children treated in therapeutic feeding programmes should always have access to medical care.
