Therapeutic class:
Acetylsalicylic acid is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) that also prevents blood clots.

Indication:
Prevention of thrombotic cerebrovascular or cardiovascular disease (acute coronary syndrome and acute stroke)
Acetylsalicylic acid 75 mg is NOT suitable for use as an anti- inflammatory/analgesic/antipyretic.
Acetylsalicylic acid 75 mg IS NOT indicated for use in children and young people less than 16 years of age
