General Description:
Supplementary Spread Preg.Lac (LNS-PLW) sachet 92g/CAR-150. Ready-to-Use Supplementary Food (LNS-PLW) paste, is a high-energy fortified food used for the treatment of malnutrition in pregnant and lactating women. Contains approximately 560 calories per 100g.

Intended Use:
During the period of supplementation, LNS-PLW is used as a supplement to family foods. It is ready to eat, directly from the sachet; does not require cooking, mixing or dilution. LNS-PLW paste is portion controlled: each sachet has the same nutritional value for control and monitoring of dietary intake.

Target Population:
For pregnant and lactating women in undernourished populations to reduce the risk of stillbirths and small for-gestational-age neonates.

Product Description
LNS-PLW is a smooth, homogeneous, thick paste containing legumes (eg peanuts or chickpeas), sugar, oil, milk powder and vitamin and mineral premix. It is squeeze out of sachet and eaten directly.

Directions for Use:
Knead the sachet prior to opening, open sachet at the tear notch at the side of the sachet, squeeze out the LNS-PLW and eat directly from the sachet. Drink clean drinking water as needed.

Shelf life 24 months from date of manufacture.
Opened sachet: use within 24 hours after opening, keep in original packaging.
