General Description
LNS-SQ Lipid Nut. Suppl. Sml 20g/CAR-600, ready-to-Use Lipid-based Nutrient Supplement (LNS-SQ) paste is a nutritional fortified food used for complementing the diet of infants and young children with essential nutrients. LNS-SQ is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of and prevent undernutrition, improve health, growth and development in children aged 6 months or older. This product cannot be used as a replacement of breast milk.

Intended Use
Ready- to- Use Fortified Spread, sachet 20 g (LNS-SQ) is as a supplement to fortify the diet and meet nutritional requirements where nutrients are lacking.

Target Population
Children aged 6 months and older. Children at risk of wasting and/or suffering from other forms of malnutrition (e.g., stunting or micronutrient deficiencies)

Recommended daily dose
1 sachet (20g) per day per child.

Directions for use
Handwashing is recommended before use. Kneed the sachet prior to opening, open sachet at the tear notch at the side of the sachet, squeeze out the LNS-SQ and feed the child directly from the sachet/ Or pour the LNS-SQ in prepared meal of child, mix it well and feed the child. Provide clean water to the child as needed. Feeding must always be supervised by a caregiver.

Shelf life
Minimum 24 months from manufacturing date.

Storage
The product should be kept in a dry and cool place, at temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius.

Packaging
The primary packaging is portion controlled: each unit of 20 g net packed in sachet/pouches.
600 sachets/pouches per carton.
